Dr. Erin Cox

Assistant Director and Staff Psychologist

Outreach and Counseling & Mental Health Services


Dr. Cox is the Assistant Director of Outreach at UConn’s Counseling & Mental Health Services.  She received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College, with a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies.  She completed her Doctor of Psychology degree at The George Washington University, and pre-doctoral and post-doctoral training at The University of Massachusetts.  Before joining UConn, Dr. Cox was an eating disorder treatment specialist at Cornell University’s Gannett Health Services.  In her role as the Assistant Director of Outreach at UConn, Dr. Cox enjoys providing educational programming to the campus community on healthy living, social justice, and reducing the stigma around mental health concerns.
